Screen refresh not happeneing
All of sudden I am getting artifacts from the previous individual and their family in both the Focus and Property windows after clicking a new person. I have to press Window->Refresh to get it cleared. I have recently migrated to a new lap top and moved all my customisations without difficulty. This effect was not seen previously and began yesterday, and is happening again today.
If anyone has any thoughts on how to stop this, I would be very grateful.

Mike,
It is fine with everthing else, only getting this on FH.

Excuse me for stating the obvious, but have you checked for the latest operating system updates, in particular video drivers? I see this occasionally (not in FH but other software) and a video drive update usually fixes it.

Re: Screen refresh not happeneing
This problem has persisted when I use FH on my second large monitor. Having gone through updating all the drivers etc, altering graphics settings the answer was remarkably simple. All that was needed was to open Settings->Display, select the second monitor and tick "Make this my main display".

Re: Screen refresh not happeneing
Thanks for the suggestion @dewilknson. That worked for me.
I have the same problem with a Dell XPS 13 on Windows 11 plugged into a second larger Dell monitor. I contacted support who were not helpful, saying it was a Windows driver issue and their suggestion was not to use the second monitor. However, this is the only piece of software I've used that this happens with. So I'd say this is a FH bug and FH aren't interested in fixing it.

Re: Screen refresh not happeneing
Unfortunately it is a Windows Driver issue, or it would not be fixed by simply swapping the screens around. There are many layers of abstraction between the program and what appears on the screen. Many of these layers are Microsoft provided and then finally there is a layer provided by the Graphic card developers. For some reason when FH tells Microsoft to tell the Graphics card to repaint an area of the screen in that particular combination of monitors and drivers it does not happen. I doubt if there is anything Calico can do other than report the problem to Microsoft to report to the graphics card driver developers.

I have used my larger second screen as my main display ever since and I have not seen any further problems.
