My Focus Window shows a repeat of a family.
[I am using v7 on Windows 10.]
The upper portion shows Jonathan Barnard & his wife Annie Holder followed by the list of nine children including Kate Ellen Barnard
The lower portion also shows Jonathan & his wife but with just the one child: Kate Ellen Barnard.

I can't see why this should be so. The list of individual records only shows the one Jonathan, Annie and Kate Ellen.

Any suggestions, please?

If you look at the family records, you will find that you Have the couple listed twice.
You will need to merge the two family records
