V7 - Creating Items in To Do Lists

Post by LizJ » 11 Feb 2021 11:38

Hi,

I have version 7 installed and have followed the instructions on the FH help and also in the FHUG KB and installed the various "additions" to FH (3 in total).

I have ended up with the To Do tab in the property box (as per the attached screenshot). How do I add anything to it? If I try clicking in it the cursor doesn't appear.

Help please.

Regards

LizJ

Are you referring to the Todo tab described here: To-Do List Attribute

If so, that was intended for use with FH6 which did not have built-in research planning/tracking facilities. Before embarking on this approach, I wonder if you've considered using FH7s built in Research Note facility, as outlined here: Research Note

Hi Liz, I agree with Helen and suggest you investigate Research Notes.

However, I have just installed the 'To Do' tab from the Knowledge Base ~ Downloads and it worked perfectly.
So I cannot explain your screenshot. Try making the Property Box wider so there's no horizontal scroll bar at the bottom.
If that reveals the boxes and you want to continue with the 'To Do' tab then I can explain how to fix it.
