FH7 Property Box
Looking at the new FH7 from the focus box I'm a bit bemused as the property box which used to be in the middle and the source box on the right hand side of it seems to have been condensed into one big table on the right hand side. Is it possible to change it back to as it was in FH6?

Re: FH7 Property Box
It sounds as if you are used to working with the Property Box floating but now it is docked. If you prefer it to be floating all the time, use Tools>Preferences>Workspaces and set the Preferred Position for Property Box to Floating for all workspaces.

Re: FH7 Property Box
The three segments of Focus Window, Property Box, and yellow Source Citation pane are essentially the same as in FH v6.
Try dragging the vertical splitter bars the same as in FH v6 to adjust the width of the three panes.
See the Help > Quick Start Guide page 5 The Property Box: Docked.
I don't understand what you mean by one big table ~a screenshot would help.
Note that the yellow Source Citation pane now shows less information which is revealed in the Citation Window as explained on page 9 Cite Your Sources of the Quick Start Guide

Mike, as I said in my reply I think he means it is docked at the right hand side (with the Source Citation pane below it). He said it "used to be in the middle and the source box on the right hand side of it" which sounds as if he used to have it floating somewhere in the middle of the screen.I don't understand what you mean by one big table ~a screenshot would help.

Your guess is as good as mine. I still don't see how it fits the description of "condensed into one big table".

Re: FH7 Property Box
I want the yellow source/citation box to be on the right-hand side as it was in FH6, I don't like it all in one vertical column next to the focus window?

I think there is an option somewhere to have the yellow bit next to the property box or below it. Is that what you mean, john?

Re: FH7 Property Box
Gardengirl exactly I'd like the yellow bit next to the property box not below it but cannot see the option to change it to what I had on FH6, the old adage 'if it ain't broke don't mend it' comes to mind!
I've tried the 'floating option' but all that does is make the focus window go across the whole page which is hopeless and I can't see a way to resize it.

Re: FH7 Property Box
Use Tool > Preferences > Property Box and set the Preferred Position for Citation List Pane to be Right of Propery Box when the box is docked and when it is floating.
(Personally I find that when the Property Box is docked it's much neater to have the extra pane below it, as it wastes less space)

Also, if you click the Property Box top right cog wheel Menu and choose Options... it takes you straight where the Preferred Position for Citation List Pane can be set.

Re: FH7 Property Box
I seem to have solved it myself in some way after playing with the options and restarting the program!
