Re: FH7 update problem
If you ever need to reinstall the retail version of FH6, you don’t actually need to save the CD (especially as many modern PCs no longer have an optical drive). I just copied the installation file (FH setup.exe), and archive that along with the serial number stored in a simple text file.

Thanks for that recommendation Gowermick. I haven't heard of that application but will certainly have a look at it. I tend to keep my passwords etc written down in a secure place separate from my devices, which I know isn't recommended, but this looks like a better option.Gowermick wrote: ↑09 Dec 2020 19:06Mikey,
I use Epim as my Personal Information Manager, which I swear by.
It has everything I need to remember those passwords etc. It even has the ability to generate secure passwords at the click of a button.
It come with calendar, notes, e-mail, and contacts sections, even in the free version.
It has an iPad/android app so you can sync with your iPad/tablet calendar, contacts etc.
I’ve been using it for the past 20 years, and can’t fault it.
Give it a (free) try, you won’t be disappointed

Forgot to mention you might need to search for EssentialPIM, rather than EPIM

Re: FH7 update problem
If you install FH7 on a second PC, it only needs your account and password, not the activation key. If you attempt to install on a 3rd, I believe it will ask which of the previous PCs you wish to deactivate.
