Re: Family Tree online event
Hi
In answer to Mike's request. Thank you Russell. I heard of this on Face Book so I copied the address and when I posted it in my answer it came as Family Search (I think it may be in collaboration with Family Search) so I am writing it from the address bar: facebook.com/events/972945223175634/ . Failing that I would Google Family Tree Academy nearer the time. When I get my magazine If there is anymore information I will post it.
Any members of Midland Ancestors can join a Zoom talk. These are at present about once per fortnight. Go to member's area and look at events/calendar. There is a need to register to join in.
Below is a copy of the FaceBook page for the Donna Rutherford Genealogy page and a live broadcast on Tuesday. I think you have to join the group
(Hope I am not breaching any rules by posting this. Just thought people might be interested.
LIVE BROADCAST - Tuesday 30 June 7:30pm BST
We took a poll in the group over the past week to see what topics you would like covered in a free LIVE presentation in this group.
The top voted topic was DNA Research Methodology - clustering & building a research tree. So I will present that next Tuesday evening.
I have combined two topics - Unknown Parentage, and finding Unknown Grandparents, and that came a close second (by 1 vote!) . So I will try and get a presentation together to also cover that on a different evening.
Watch this space for more details and the event that you will be able to join and follow
Stay safe and well
Ann
