* Multimedia help please!

Have been entering multimedia documents this afternoon. They all did as I expected
except one! I now have an individual who has a copy of his will alongside his name box
in the focus window! It also appears on any trees that he appears on.
I have been able to delete this 'picture' but at the expense of deleting the multimedia.
Help would be very much appreciated.

It sounds as if you have linked the image to the Individual record as a whole. It would be more usual to link an image of a will either to the individula's Will fact or to a Source record which is cited against the Will fact. Normally only pictures of the person would be linked to the whole record, and it is these which appear in the Focus window and diagrams.

However if you still want to link the image to the whole record you can open the Edit Media Item window and tick the option to Exclude from Diagrams. This will also exclude the image from the Focus window.

I had linked the image as you thought I had. I have no linked the image against sourced record
cited against a will fact. I hope I phrased that correctly!
It is now as I want it. Many thanks for your reply and help.
