Hi....I have just setup my new 24 inch roll printer which is a Epson SCT-2170. Trying to get the setup correct before I do any test prints. Print setup shows paper as "user defined" and source as "roll paper". The family chart still shows page breaks. Is this correct? ...Bob

Please see the FHUG Knowledge Base article Single PDF Page of a Diagram which gives much advice and explains many options.
If anything is not clear then ask again.

It is recommended that you save the Diagram as a single PDF page rather than print directly to paper.
The single PDF page method largely ignores the paper size and page breaks.
Finally, you print the long PDF page to the paper roll.

Mike....since I was using a roll I had to adjust to print length settings out to several feet and that eliminated the page brakes seen on the diagram. Concerning printing to single page .pdf. My chart could be quite long maybe exceeding 12ft. I was told in a previous post that there was a length limit of 128 inches when printing as a .pdf. and that I should print direct. Any thoughts?....Bob

The article I quoted provides answers to that question.
Yes, the default Family Historian PDF is limited to 128" but other PDF printer drivers go up to 200" which is over 16 feet.

You may have to experiment a little as you are pushing the limits somewhat.
Other factors such as readability of text and quality of images may also be affected.
