Family Historian User Group

Please go gently on me as I’m not very good with computers or software, I am trying to put a book together in FH and all seems OK except “Free Text” when I enter text in the “Enter Text” box and then OK it I can’t find it anywhere on the finished book?

The “Item” box was filled in correctly ie I put a heading in and left “Chapter” and “New page” as they are but there is NO free text show anywhere, can you help? Please try not to get all technical as that goes right above my head.

Yes, I have exactly the same symptoms.

Which FH Version are you running?

I have V5.0.5 which appears to have this fault.

It was not working on version 5.0.2 and still not on my version 5.0.5

I have reported this to Calico
