Is there any way to batch set or change a keyword for all the images in a given folder? E.g. if I have a number of images in a folder called 'headstones' can I set the keyword for all those images to be headstone without having to do it one by one?
Thanks.

I wrote one years ago when I moved to V4.

I haven't had time to re-write it as a plugin but you are welcome to give it a try

Please make a backup before you start.

I've had a go at a work-in-progress plugin which will update the Keywords on any selection of Multimedia records.  The selection could be by a Query or by clicking in the Records window.  If the File column is used for sorting, it is easy to select all the records linked to a particular folder.

Existing keywords are replaced by the selected keywords, which are sorted alphabetically.  I find this useful for maintaining consistency when sorting records with multiple keywords.

I believe the functionality is OK, but further improvements to the user interface are 'above my pay grade' in terms of knowledge and experience of IUP.

The Keyword Update plugin is now available from the Plugin Store.  Version 1.1 has a button for Online Help:
