I'm sure this is not the right term but these are little circles with what looks like rays of light coming off of them.

What are the icons with light beams?
These only appear on the All tab or in expanded Records in the Records Window.
They are UDF or Uncategorised Data Fields which are customised GEDCOM tags not supported by FH.
They arise from imported GEDCOM from other software.
What have you imported?
This may allow further advice on how to deal with the UDF.
In the FH Help Search for Uncategorised for more info.
There is also a Plugin UDF List that will list them all.

What are the icons with light beams?
Thanks. I am importing a gedcom from ancestry.com and found that I can exclude other applications' extensions to gedcoms.
