When I purchased the Family Historian at the recent SOG fair in London, I was assured by the vendor that the program would allow the combining of mine and my wifes ancestral lines, which at the moment stands at eight, in the diagram mode. After printing out the user manuel and reading and trying what seems to be the answer, I am still unable to what I bought the program for.
Can anyone point me in the right direction please.

Combining family lines
If I have understood you correctly, what you need to do is select the family rather than the single person.
So on the records window go to yourself, press the + and select spouse family with 'wife' where it says with .. Then hit the diagram button.
