Backup of Fact Sets, Custom reports

Hi
I notice that when I save a custom report it is saved in the Local Disk >Program data > Calico Pie >Reports > Custom and presumably this needs backing up so that if I had a system crash I could restore these reports as well?
The facts set had the same system only the above ended in Calico > Fact sets > Custom but I created a new fact set last night and this is not in that folder along with the other custom facts sets.
Some clarification on the info that is not backed up in version 5 within Family Historian backup system would be helpful please.
Thanks

Have you read

which covers much of what you are asking.

Thanks I had read it before and tried finding it again to read it before I posted. Have now bookmarked it and saved the link in a document!
I found the right folder and it is saving my custom reports in there but it doesn't appear to be saving the new fact sets.
I know that you can export from within Family History but when I go to export and click on fact set I don't see my new set on the list.
If I save the whole C:Documents and SettingsAll UsersApplication DataCalico PieFamily Historian are my custom fact sets saved even if I can't see them?
Sorry to be a pain.

This raises a number of points.
(1) Not only is there the how to
Move Family Historian Settings but also
Understanding the Scope of Features.
(2) Are you really creating a new
Fact Set and not just a new
Fact which defaults to the
Custom Fact Set. Any new
Fact Set must be stored in the folder
C:Documents and SettingsAll UsersApplication DataCalico PieFamily HistorianFact TypesCustom otherwise FH will not list it.
(3) Yes, saving
C:Documents and SettingsAll UsersApplication DataCalico PieFamily Historian is a good idea. There is an FH V5 Plugin
Backup Family Historian Settings that does that for all
Custom settings (but not customised
Standard settings).
(4) There is Beta Test version of an FH V5 Plugin
Backup And Restore Family Historian Settings that does it all - Custom settings, Standard settings, and Registry settings.

Thanks Tatewise
Your reply clarify it for me. The problem was that I lost both computers last year. I ended up with a new PC which I specified that I wanted XP on and then a few weeks later the laptop died and I ended up with a new one wwith Windows 7 on. I still have problems finding things on Windows 7 but I put the full path to the Calico datafile in windows search facility and got it. When I lost both computers I didn't lose any of my data so I was doing it right before that. I've bookmarked both the URL links so if I need to I can quickly look them up again, thanks for those.
I was only adding new facts not fact sets, which explains a lot.
Thanks again for your help

Yes, the
Calico Pie folder is in a different location on
XP than on
Windows 7 &
Vista, as explained by the
Family Historian Program Data Folder advice.
The two Plugins mentioned know that difference and adjust accordingly.
