Is it possible to uninstall the Property Box Tabs: Census UK function?

Yes.
Select the Census UK tab.
Click the Property Box Menu Icon that looks like a Menu with a red tick.
Choose Customize.
Double check that Tab: says Census UK.
Click More Tab Tasks > Delete Tab.
Click the Help button for full details of tab customize options.

Thanks Tatewise, will now use Ancestral Sources for Census data.
