Book Function show diagrams in landscape

When I create a book and import a diagram it is shown in Portrait such that some relatives spread over several pages. Is there a way that the diagram can be shown in landscape and hence the diagram is turned through 90 degrees on the page. You can print a diagram in landscape but not include it in a book as such. Any thoughts.

This was discussed in another thread:

The workaround Jane suggested was to save the diagram as an image, then rotate it and insert it into a blank chart. Then add the chart into the book. A bit cumbersome, though. I think it's one for the wish list.

Thanks Lorna.
Not the reply I wanted, I had hoped there would be some hidden option allowing me to rotate the diagram. The suggested solution looks very cumbersome. I hope Calico Pie do add a rotate feature soon as most publishing of charts need a landscape view as most charts view better that way.

Are we talking about something similar to a Pedigree chart or something completely different?

Dagwood, just about any chart FH produces fits better on landscape than portrait. You can fiddle and get something like a pedigree to fit nicely on a portrait page, but most others don't.

DaveP, have you tried scaling? One of the options when you insert a diagram is to scale it. If you have a small tree with only 1 or 2 people 'sticking over' onto another pages, scaling it down might help. It will still be readable if you don't go too small. But you can always try it and change the scale after you've seen what it looks like in the book.
