Hi all,

I'm debating going on a Family Historian Course. Since I've been using it for about a year, and have experience of using (and writing) all sorts of databases, I'm not sure if it's worth going on the Beginner's course, or whether to jump straight to the Intermediate.

Does the Beginners Course (my closest one being the half-day one at the Society of Genealogists) cover much more than the basics of inputting people, and adding sources and citations?

I can't speak for the SOG course, but you could contact them direct for a content.

Several quite experienced users who came on my Introduction course last weekend said they picked up quite a few tips.

That said I suspect if you are happy with all the basics you could jump direct to the intermediate level course.
