Loss of source data with V5

I have installed V5 over 4.1 and note that much of the data entered in the citation box for the sources has disappeared from view. I found it by going to the source and opening the actual source details. The citation detail is now marked with a little dot with radiating lines (looks like a sun) which is the same symbol for UDF or non-gedcom data. Does anyone know why this has happened? I have never had the problem before and as I have over 10,500 individuals each with numerous sources and citations the result is pretty scary for me. If all else fails does anyone know if I can uninstall 5 and if 4.1 is automatically restored so I can open a backup of that file? I am pretty desperate about this so any help would be wonderful.[frown]

What fields are you seeing with starbursts?

When you loaded V5 you should have got a exception report, what was detailed on that report?

Could you either post an image of what you are seeing, or can you locate the offending Tags in the GEDCOM file and copy & paste that section of GEDCOM into this thread?

JaneS Loss of Source Data.I have just looked at this. I have loaded the FULL V5. Is it the same as I get? If you go to an individual, and click on a fact, and then press the source icon in top right hand corner. Source details come up, but there is nothing shown in the 'Text from Sources' box. However, if you go to the Icon 'Individual Records - Records Windows' and go to the individual source you can see all the source details one has entered.
The star burst is by the 'Add Citation' in the Source pane. I too don't want to go to individual source record to see the detail, but in the property window source detail.
