Uninstalling Beta removes Sample Project

This is a note for the benefit of any other beta testers who may, like me, have installed the full V5 over V4 before uninstalling the Beta5. I noticed a couple of days later that the FH Sample project was not listed in the Projects window. Investigation showed that the .fh_proj file for the sample project was missing and other folders were empty. I then realised that it must have been removed when I uninstalled the Beta.
Uninstalling the full V5 and re-installing (having backed up customised settings first!) restored the Sample Project. I hardly ever look at it, except occasionally to test something, so it might have been quite a while before I noticed its absence.

There is an option Reset Sample Project which is available from the Project Window by clicking on More Tasks... and then on Samples.

Of course, I'd forgotten that as I rarley look at the Sample Project. I'll bear it in mind when V6 comes along...!

Remember the Family Historian Sample Project is a useful vehicle for all kinds of experiments.

Use it to try out all kinds of new data entry and structuring experiments, to try out new V5 Plugins, to check out Ancestral Sources options, etc, etc.

If something does not appear to work in your main project then see if it works in the sample project.

The Family Historian Sample Project can easily be reset to its original state as described above via the Project Window.
