Family Historian User Group

I have just installed my version 5 upgrade (via CD)and when I try to open the programme, I get the following error message:

'Cannot find import; DLL may be missing, corrupt, or wrong version
File 'mfc100.dll', error 126'

Any ideas how to proceed, please?

If you are using XP please make sure you have SP3 installed.

Once SP3 is installed try the install for V5 again.

As a matter of fact, I am running Vista Home Premium.

I found that the .dll was in fact missing, and resolved the issue from information found here:

I have now successfully manged to open my programme.
