Version 5 Large Backup Project file query.

After over installing version 5 onto 4.13 I decided to do a full proct file backup.
I tdid so in my default backup file successfully but .....
it showed a bar backing up 1000 records out of 1000.
I am worried because I have some 1319 records.
Is this OK please

You may be confusing Records and Files.
All your Records, such as Individual, Family, Source, etc, are in one GEDCOM File.
Your Project Folder holds Files for Multimedia Image Files, etc, etc.
The Progress Bar refers to how many Files are being saved to Backup, NOT Records.

It seemed queer that exactly '1000' files were produce a nice round amount
I have 1132 records 406 family records 125 Multimedia records Note 96 Submitter 1 Source 91.
How does the figure of 1000 get produced is there any way of checking this ??

As tatewise correctly said, the 1000 items which were backed up are files not records (which are all in the one GEDCOM file).
You should open Windows Explorer and right-click on your project folder, then click on Properties. Amongst other things, the Windows Properties dialog will show how many files in total are within your project folder and its sub-folders (e.g. Media, etc.).
