How to change email address for Notifications?

I have a new email address, and have changed the details in my profile, but notifications of new threads still go to my old email address - how can I ensure notifications go to my new address please?

If you email me the old and addresses I can manually edit them if I can find the references in the database, alternatly, if you turn off notification and turn it back on the change will take effect.

The system records the email address from the user at time of turning on the notification, this speeds the process of checking for notifications when a forum entry is added.
