Family Historian User Group

I use two computers one a desktop PC running on Windows 7 and the other a netbook with XP which allows me to work more comfortably in the lounge while watching TV. My problem is that while I can download any Census or similar image from Ancestry to the netbook and then into my DropBox FH multimedia file I cannot do the same with the PC. It's annoying more than a serious problem  but I go through all the same steps right up to opening the Dropbox folder and hitting Save but nothing appears in the PC's folder. Can anyone suggest what might be wrong? It is the only application where I have a problem downloading images.

If using IE8 or 9.

Have you tried removing the tick from 'Enabled Protected Mode' ?

Tools>Internet Options>Security (Tab)

Then:
Still in Security - click on 'Trusted Sites' then 'Sites' button and add 'http://www.ancestry.co.uk/ to the list.

Restart browser.
