Program keeps closing

I have a strange one. I went into Family History to enter a new baby. I brought up the father, clicked on Add Child and halfway through FH turned itself off. I have tried several more times and it lets me get to the person and then shuts down. I have an up to date anti-virus program and am at a loss to think what it is doing it. I have also tried re-booting my PC but it still does it.

Any ideas?

Jane, many thanks for your post. I have now read through all the pages you referred me to and found I was not alone! I too have the dreaded McAfee (free with my BT) so will wait a little and then check the update. I am visiting family not seen for many years this weekend so want to take a print out of our family tree so far. I would have been gutted if I couldn't have taken one. Fingers crossed.
