Is there anyway to show how a couple may be indirectly related, as well as being husband and wife? i.e cousins or such by marriage.

How related - Married couple
You can see it on the How Related tool.
Where were you trying to show it, you could add a line to a diagram on the spouse box or family query using something like
=Relationship(%FAM.HUSB>%,%FAM.WIFE>%,TEXT,2)

With the how related tool, indirect relationships are not shown if direct ones exist (or at least I've been unable to make it do so). So in my example, a married couple will be shown as that, and nothing more. Or have I missed a tweak?
