Webpages - Showing source for photographs

Post by Cambiz » 04 Aug 2011 10:56

If I associate a photograph against someone, I now add the source for the photo, e.g. 'From Mum' or 'Source: Ancestry user FRED1234' in the NOTE field (next to LINK TO FACE) in the EDIT MEDIA ITEM popup.

To get this to show on the report I then use the USE NOTE AS CAPTION.

This blats the name but if I don't do this I cannot acknowledge where the photo is from.

Its one of my pet annoyances that photos (an every other bit of information!) I have put up on my web site have appeared elsewhere without any acknowledgment and I don't want to be guilty of same.

How can I show both name etc. for the photo whilst also showing its source (even if it's elsewhere on the page)?
