* Android Tablet or Ipad

I am trying to decide which tablet device to ask for as a present.[question]
I am after views from anyone who use either an android device or an Ipad for research.
I also want to use it for general browsing but am not bothered about games.
I have looked at tablets using windows operating system but wonder if this will be less user friendly when browsing.
The only advantage I can see to using windows is being able to run Family Historian on the device as well as my main computer.

Windows 8 coming out next year looks like it will effectively offer two interfaces that you will be able to choose between depending on whether it is used on a tablet or a laptop/PC. Still early days (its not even out for beta testing yet) but looks promising.

Decided to go for a netbook 11.6inch screen and 3gb ram, more than my laptop, and 250gb storage.
Arrived today so just need to get FH and other software loaded.[smile]
