I have decided to 'tidy up' my fact sets since over the years I have created and imported facts and now have several that overlap each other. I am not sure of the best way to do this, I would like to do something like 'work with data' where I can choose places or occupations and then 'replace with' and choose the correct name. Is this possible?

Do you mean you have Two Facts for the same thing or simply two definitions in different fact sets?
In other words are the data references the same or different?

Both. At various times I have created a 'witness' event to describe someone as a witness at a wedding, later I have created a 'witness to' event for the same purpose. On top of everything else I have a miscellaneous event which contains witness events. It is a mess.

You could do a search and replace in PsPad to swap them over, once you decide on the best one.
