Descendant Outline Report

Post by delwoodman » 17 Mar 2011 12:51

I am using v. 4.1.3

With most reports, sources appear in the following format:

1. Birth certificate of John Doe.
2. Anyvillage parish register.

But with the Descendant Outline Report I am getting:

1.
Birth certificate of John Doe.
2.
Anyvillage parish register.

So far as I can see I have the settings on the source and format tabs of report Options set the same for Descendant Outline as for other reports.

Any suggestions for removing the unwanted line feeds from the Descndant Outline report will be welcome.

Thanks,
Derek Woodman

What settings are you using, can you screen grab then, do you use the short title, if so then try turning off the Assessment display.

Jane:

These are the settings in the source tab for my Desc. Outline report.

Using the same settings for Anc Outline does not give the problem (nor do i get the problem with other reports).

I tried unchecking assessment but it made no difference. I also tried reverting to installation settings. Again, still the problem.

Problem now solved!

On stepping through the options tabs and reverting all tabs to installation settings, the problem went when I did this on the page layout tab. The para indent setting was too low.
