So has anybody started work on a template for the UK 2011 census now that the forms have started being distributed
I guess it could be fun finding a home for a lot of the data on the form, especially the split between Household and personal details.

Of course in a 100 years time there will probably be 'super intelligent' software around where, at the click of a button, it will just go away and do all the research automatically and just dump a full tree, with all source info, straigt onto you desktop, or whatever device we'll all be using by them.
No fun at all [mad][cry]

I am mystified by the 2011 census, the paper version tells you to complete it on or soon after 27th March but I was able to complete it online last night, before I knew if I was going to have any visitors.
I expected to fill it in so far and have to wait until the correct date to complete it but it ended and told me I had submitted it successfully.

Don't you just love Government computer systems

You probably get an automated fine generated now for completing it to early......

Me and the Mrs are on hols abroad next week, but I really can't be bothered trying to work that one out in terms of filling the forms in.
So I filled mine in online last week, intending to save it so that so that it would get submitted automatically on the closing date (the online system says it will do that). Or I could amend it if I'd died by then [rolleyes]
However when I got to the last screen the option for saving the document had disappeared from that screen (it was on all the others)!!
The only thing I could think to do was choose the make changes option, go back to an earlier screen and save it from there. It will probably end up submitting a half completed form.
What a cackhanded piece of design!
