How to delete duplicate entry please

I have an Elizabeth Green with her parents and two children. She did not marry so there is no husband.

I did have a partner entered for her but decided to delete him. In the focus window I now have two sets of information for Elizabeth Green including parents and children.

Can you please advise how to get rid of the surplus entry.

I should mention that she they only show up once in the index.

I suspect you have two Family as Spouse records for her, go to the All tab and delete the one you don't want, or use the records window for Family Records and select both records and merge them.

Many thanks Jane. I used the All tab method.

I have been neglecting my research lately. I will now have the time to study how FH works. Just started on Queries.
