Creating new facts

I have only been using FH for 6 months so I am still learning. I have V4 and would like to create a new fact called CONVICT TRANSPORTATION based on the same fields that are given in the IMMIGRATION fact. When ever I create this new fact the text box always comes up as the standard Date, Place, Address, Note etc, I cannot get the FROM field to come up although I included place2 in the template.

How can I create this or can I copy and rename the IMMGRATION fact?

My reasoning for the two facts is that I have both convicts and free settlers in my family. The free settlers immigrates to the colony while the convicts were transported against there will and I would like to segregate between the two types.[grin]

Hi John,
Thanks for your resonse some of which make sense. But as I am still feeling my way around FH this may take a bit fluffing about with to make work.

I like your logic and structure so I will give it go.
