I am at present trying to design my own website with Web Easy 8 Professional.
I am trying to export my charts from FHv4 to the new web site [which is not online at the moment] but I am not having much luck. Does anyone have any ideas on how its done?

With your Diagram Window open, use menu bar option Diagram > Save Diagram As > JPEG File (.jpg) (or GIF File (.gif)) and then you can include that JPEG (or GIF) image file on a web page.
Have you looked at the many FHUG member websites listed under the Main Menu > Links entry at:
http://www.fhug.org.uk/cgi-bin/index.cg ... mberssites
These may give you some ideas about designing your site.

Just to add to Mikes comments, you might want to use PDF charts attached as files if the diagrams are are to large to easily view with in a screen.
There are ways to build scrolling images on some web packages but the one you are using I have not seen.

You've both been a great help thanks. I only got FH 4 last December, I had previously been using a pretty basic package so I'm still a bit lost. What is it they say, something along the lines of 'he who never made mistake never made a discovery'. You wouldn't believe just how many things I've discovered!!!!

There are several genealogical web sites that offer various ways of presenting your data online, sometimes for free, and usually allow your GEDCOM data to be imported & exported easily.
For example, both AncestryUK http://www.ancestry.co.uk/ and FindMyPast http://www.findmypast.co.uk/ have a subscription service for searching their records, but online family trees are completely FREE, and anyone can be invited to view them.
Ancestry UK appears to have no limit to the number or the size of the trees.
FindMyPast supports two trees, both of up to 5,000 individuals, and a storage limit of 200Mb.
MyHeritage http://www.myheritage.com/ also offers trees for FREE for up to 250 individuals, and FREE integrated Family Tree Builder software. Larger trees can be uploaded for a small fee. I find their tree presentation technique quite appealing.
Other genealogical web sites are available.
