Missing Lists Toolbar

Post by Bysh » 11 Jan 2011 13:57

I've lost my Lists Toolbar/Menu. I know these are only visible in the Records Window, but I'm looking at the Records Window and the Lists toolbar is nowhere to be seen!

How do I get it back?

Thank you.

Try reloading the program. Also assuming you are on V4, make sure you have V4.1.3

Do you mean the Named Lists Pane that appears to the right of the Records Window?
If so, then either use menu bar option Lists > Named Lists Pane or click on the icon in the toolbar below the menu bar that looks like a small square box with a blue top and green right-hand edge.
Both these options toggle the Named Lists Pane on and off.

Do you mean that when you are looking at the records window you then cannot see the button in the toolbar to open the lists pane?
In an earlier version of FH v4 [can't remember which one] if you opened the programme NOT into the focus window but directly to the records window, then the lists button was missing. It could be brought back by opening a diagram or the focus window.
This has now been fixed in the latest version 4.1.3

Thank you for your replies. The missing bit was the icon Tatewise describes: it was nowhere to be seen and I wanted to creat a new named list, but there was no way to do it.

Weirdly, this afternoon, the missing tool has re-appeared.

I am using version 4.1.3

Thanks again!

This may seem an odd question:
Are you using the Windows 7 operating system?

If it disappears again, you can always use the option from the list menu.
