Editing Custom Ids

Ive been using Family Historian to plot the descendents of the Electress Sofia,
Ive been using the custom Id and then custom queries to sort the descendendants into a list of persons eligible to succeed to the british throne.
Basicaly Ive started of by giving Sofia a custom ID of 1 and then her children IDs of 1.1 and 1.2 and their children idS OF 1.11 1.12 1.13 1.21, 1,22, 1.23 ETC, male descendants always coming before females
This has worked really well , and by using various flags for I've been able to identify those who are ineligible to suceed. I have also recorded by using flags those descendents who are twins and triplets.
Id like to now like to extend the data back to earlier descendents of James the 1st so that I can plot the jacobite line of succession
This will involve some some renumbering. so that Sophia Instead of being 1 would be 1.4.13 amd all her descendents would have the same prefix.
Is there then an easy way of changing all the current Custom Ids i.e some sort of find 1. and replace with 1.4.13.
many thanks.
