This has probably been asked before: I've just got a new PC and want to intall FH on it. I've got all disks up to version 4, which I've been using on my previous computer so I could use them for the installation on the new machine. Alternatively can I just download the latest version from the FH website and then input my registration details? The latter would be the ideal method.
Thanks, Martin.

Installation on new computer
My understanding is that it depends on what type of CD you have.
If you have the Family Historian 4 boxed set CD costing over £30 then you can install that.
However, it sounds like you have a Family Historian 2 CD and Family Historian 3 Upgrade CD and Family Historian 4 Upgrade CD. That latter costing about £20.
In this case you must install the V2 CD, then the V3 Upgrade CD, then the V4 Upgrade CD, and finally the free V4.1.3 upgrade download.
If your V2 CD is an early version check out http://www.fhug.org.uk/wiki/doku.php?id ... it_windows.

Thanks. Yes, I have got V2, 3 & 4 plus the downloadable update to 4. No problem, I'll reinstall that way.
