Error 105

I have Windows 7. I've just received this erroe message when trying to install FH 2.3 I know there is an updated version available for FH but currently I cannot upgrade.
My question is there any way round this problem? My thanks in advance.

Hi Nick,
Many thanks for your guidance. I downloaded and installed the FH218_CD-backed_install_218.exe. It worked great and I've just finished loading my files. Initially I thought that I had a serious problem in the registry and began to imagine all sorts of the unimaginable, sanity returning. Many thanks once again.

It's worth remembering that Windows 7 was not even a twinkle in Microsoft's eye when Version 2 came out, so the CD backed installer is a great solution to the problem.

Does the Calico Family Historian page for Special CD-Backed Installers need updating?
It only mentions Versions 2.0.7, 2.1.6 & 2.1.8 whereas Antaeus had the Error 105 problem with Version 2.3 which the CD-Backed Installer has cured.
