Printing a chart as pdf
I have a very large chart with lots of pictures inserted into it. I have it nicely laid out with page boundaries in the right place. I tried to save it as pdf with 'Use Current Page Layout' and then all of the photos seem to move around a little bit, making some of them break over two pages. How do I stop this happening.

Can you confirm you have V4.1 installed as there were some fixes in PDF output between V4 and V4.1

Try setting the printer on the File/Print Set up to the Family Historian PDF printer. It's possible you 'real' printer has a slightly different page size to the PDF one.

Printing a chart as pdf
Hi Jane
I didn't get as far as printing, I was trying to save it as a pdf meaning to start printing tomorrow, there is a discrepancy between the page breaks in FH and the pdf it creates.

No what I meant was from the File Menu Print Setup, change the current printer to the FH PDF printer, when Family Historian builds the page edges it uses the current printers page size, many inkjet printers (for example) have small not available areas. Changing the printer to the PDF printer should correct the page 'movement' you are seeing when you save to PDF.

Thanks Jane, all sorted now.
