1. Work With Data Windows to remember size and location
2. Windows and columns to 'remember' positions and sizes
Item 2 appears to be marked as completed in 2.2, although I confess that I do not understand why 'remember' is quoted. Perhaps there is some qualification to this?
The 2.2 release notes say:
However, there still appear to be a couple of windows that fail to remember their size, even within a session. For example, the 'Select Records' dialogue. It's very tedious to have to keep re-sizing this, so that one can see what one is selecting. It becomes a very negative factor for using any feature that invokes this dialogue and others similar to it (of which I unfortunately cannot recall right at this minute).Family Historian now remembers Window sizes and positions between sessions. It will remember the size and position of both the main window and the inner child windows (e.g. the Records Window, Diagram Window, Multimedia Window, Query Window and Reports Window). It will remember whether any of these were full-screen or not. It will also remember in many cases the position of panes within windows (e.g. the Named List panes, and the 3 panels within it). It will remember the width and position of columns in most key windows that have columns - e.g. the Records Window. Within a session, it will also remember the position of most Dialog Boxes (e.g. Select Source Dialog and Property Dialog).
Second point regarding the above is, will support for the 'Select Source' dialogue box and others be extended so that their sizes and positions are remembered across sessions, or does this have to be requested in another wish list item?
Finally, the number one window size issue, in my book, is the properties dialogue, but that is a separate wish list item and a separate topic.
