Statistics page on generated website

Post by Phil_Edmonds » 23 Aug 2010 02:12

Hi all, I'm a bit confused about the statistics page when I generate a website.

The generated page says I have 624 individuals in the file (which is correct I think, more or less), but 1108 pictures.

Since I've only attached about 30 photos, and maybe about 30 certificate scans before I got fed up with doing that, at best, I'm a bit confused about where it's getting the 1108 from. Anyone else noticed anything similar?

In the program itself, if I do File->File Statistics, it rports that ther are 624 individuals and 114 multimedia records.

WishI did have 1108 pictures, unfortunately most of the people in my tree were dead long before the camera came along :-(

Thanks, Phil.

Depending on what sheets you are using, remember the picture count on the web site is the number of images, so if a picture appears on 6 pages it will be counted 6 times and if a picture is 'cut up' into faces each face will be counted.
