Hi
Can FH display approximate dates in the format 'about 1800' or 'abt 1800'?
In the focus window approximate dates show as 1800(app) whereas in diagrams they show as '1800?' and there doesn't seem to be any option to change that.
I would prefer them to show as 'about' or 'abt' in diagrams and reports.
Many thanks
Paul

The question mark option is only for the life dates function, if you change your diagram to pick up the individual event dates you can avoid the ? format.
I don't remember anyone ever asking for the approximate dates to be shown as about before.

Display of approximate dates
Thanks Jane, that's at least a partial solution
My .ged is full of tags like...
2 DATE ABT 1803
...and all genealogy programs I've used before have allowed data entry and display in this format (and dates were of course imported into FH correctly). It's personal taste I guess but I prefer reports etc that I might pass to others to show dates in this format.
Many thanks

Not a wish list item for the display, more for the input of 'about' dates, but it could do with a vote or two if you feel that 'app' is not helpful in reports.
