Two households on same census page

Post by RMH » 14 Jul 2010 16:51

I've just found an instance where a census page includes several households - one is a family who are on my tree and another includes as a servant an individual also on my tree, but not related to the family.

What is the best way of uploading the data - do I have to treat them as one household so that I can link them all to the same image?

I suspect I'll have more similar instances as I go on, so advice would be appreciated.

Thanks

Two households on same census page

Treat them as two separate inputs.  When you use AS to enter the second family (the servant, in your example), you have the option to link the entry to an existing image (which you will have linked when you added the first family).

Thanks very much for that Robin - as ever easy when you know how!
