I don't suppose you can work out the sequence of steps required to repeat this error? I've had a handful of reports of this sort of error but haven't been able to find the cause yet.

The error message is from the main census grid (the DataGridView it refers to) and appears to be from a cell which has a drop down list in it (DataGridViewComboBoxCell) so it is odd if it is appearing when you're typing in an address into one of the text boxes above.
It's just happened again on a 1911 Census.Stevebye said:

I wonder if its something about the 'Teacher Domestic' that you pasted in. Where did you copy it from?
I will keep monitoring and report back.Nick Walker said:
I'm wondering if there were hidden extra characters being pasted in which caused the error. I've tried pasting all sorts of things to try to cause the error but still haven't seen it. I don't use FindMyPast so I can't test that.

I deactivated Autosave when I installed FH.PeterR said:
Could the message 'The GEDCOM family history file has been changed outside of Ancestral Sources and will be reloaded' be triggered by the FH Autosave?
I'm using the exact same page.Nick Walker said:
There is an issue with A.S. v1.0 that if the save takes a bit too long it can think that the file has been changed by another application (reported to me by David Dewick). I suspect that because the error message appeared during the save it delayed things sufficiently for this to happen. This issue is hopefully fixed in the next version.
It does seem as though you are managing to repeat the error which is occuring when Arthur Verney's occupation is pasted in and you move to the next cell. Please can you check that if you start a census and paste this same occupation from the same original source (web page?) into the occupation field that this error occurs once you move the cursor into the next cell in the table? If so would be able to send me the web page by email (assuming its Find My Past then I don't have a subscription so can't check for myself). e.g. if you're using Internet Explorer 8 then click on Page->Send Page by Email. My email is nick at ancestralsources dot com
Many thanks
Nick
