* Scrolling with Mouse Wheel

i would dearly love to be able to scroll the Records window using the mouse wheel. It's the method I use all the time and has become such a habit that I'm constantly frustrated at having to use the scroll bar. Only a minor quibble but one that would make life easier for me.

The records window scrolls fine for me with the wheel in FH. Check your Windows Mouse drivers, there are issues with some of the Old Microsoft mouse drivers on Vista and 7 as there are two ways of programming for scroll and some old mouse drivers don't support both.

I'm sure you are doing this but I find that unless I have actually clicked somewhere in the Records window it will not scroll. Just click anywhere and all is fine.

I thought it was just me... my mouse scroll wheel also doesn't work with FH... and yes, I'm frustrated, too!

It works just fine with every other piece of software I have installed, but with FH it's a no-go. I've tried using different mouse drivers, all to no avail.

For the record I'm using Vista with all updates, a Microsoft Notebook Opitical Mouse 3000, and FH has all current updates installed.

I have the same problem too. It is an issue with some software - Google Picassa is another one. These issues are always with Microsoft mice on Vista/Windows 7. Using settings for other microsoft mice can fix it (e.g. some articles suggest you should choose Wireless Notebook Presenter Mouse 8000) but then you don't always get the same functionality that your particular model of mouse provides. Microsoft must be well aware of it as it is widely reported.

Microsoft's usual response is that as it only happens in a few applications it is down to the programmers of those applications to fix the issue.
