I can't see any easy way to identify possible duplicate individual records and duplicate family records, within FH, for the current file (I know about the file/branch/pair merging functions).
FTM used to prompt me if it adjudged that I might be entering a duplicate individual, and then give me the opportunity to merge (or not) the relevant records. It also had a 'possible duplicates' search function.
FH does not seem to have either feature, so spotting duplicates becomes a little hard when the number of records starts to climb.
How do people handle this, please?

No one have this problem to deal with from time to time, then? [confused]

Duplicate Individuals and Families
Thanks, must have missed it or mistyped my search, since a search on the wish-list for 'duplicates' is the second thing I did after searching the forum
Anyway, voted for it.
Not sure the query will be very helpful, since I don't know which potential duplicates I'm searching for. Also imagine you have 20 John Smiths in your file. It's got to be surname+firstname+something else, maybe birth year to identify candidates for duplicates, in any dup report. Or maybe it would be surname + any other 2 of firstname, birth date, spouse maiden surname, etc.
