Query help please?

Post by Greyflyer » 08 Jun 2010 19:55

I have been placing birth, marriage and death index
results in the Facts notes for that particular event.  Now I want to write a query to pull them all out before going to the record office.  I can get births out using %INDI.BIRT.NOTE2% and %INDI.DEAT.NOTE2% for deaths.  But I can't find a corresponding query for marriages.

I'd also like the result to show only those reople with notes.

Can anyone help please?

Many thanks

Ron

It's not pretty but I've managed to do it using Family rather than Individual. I guess I'll have to clear it all up using Excel.

But, of course, if anyone has a better suggestion...

You could simply use a Fact Query and then just filter for Birth/Death/Marriage Facts.

e.g %FACT.NOTE2[1]% is not null
