I seem to have lost 'My menu' from the tool bar, it is still there when I look at the FHUG Home Page, so what have I done?

Right click on the toolbar and make sure it's ticked.

I have done that and it has a tick next to it. I even tried re-installing the toolbar and it has made no difference.

Very strange, mine seems to be working fine and I have not changed anything on it for a very long time.
Are you staying logged in on FHUG? The toolbar uses your login cookie to obtain your menu, so my guess would be you have a cookie blocker or similar blocking it.

Does the FHUG Toolbar work with browsers other than IE, please? eg Google Chrome?

Yes I stay logged in to FHUG however I suspect my daughter may have changed some settings while she 'borrowed' my laptop during her last visit - I will work through them.
Thanks for the suggestion about cookies!

Gerry, not sure about Chrome, but it looks from the toolbar site that it is supported, I have used it with Firefox and IE, and it looks like it also works with Safari.

Thanks. I downloaded the various versions of the FHUG tool-bar but none of them seemed to be compatible with Chrome. I then went over to the Chrome Help website and it appears that Google have made a decision not to permit toolbars as they slow down the operation of the browser.
What you can do is to add bookmarks to the header (I suppose this is the one built-in toolbar). Any idea how I could add in the individual components of the FHUG toolbar? For example the short-cut to recent posts looks very useful.
Anyway, I intend to stick with Chrome for the time being as it loads much faster than IE and seems to be more responsive - at least on my computer.
