Any way to quickly view stats on the current file, showing: Total no. of individuals, total no. of families, total no. of surnames, number of notes, sources, etc., earliest birth date, number of generations, etc. (the type of thing that FTM shows, for example).
Ideally all in one place, where it can be copied for pasting elsewhere?
I'm thinking not, but I thought I would ask.

File Stats
The Total number of Individuals and Families is shown in the status bar (bottom right) when you are viewing the Records Window.
You can use a query to count records of any given type because when you run a query, the number of records in the result set is shown in the status bar. So you could use a query to find the total number of records of any type (source, note, etc). You could also use it to find the number of individuals who matched other criteria (e.g. born in Australia and died of skin cancer). You could also use a query to find the earliest birth date.

P.S. I should have added that File Stats sounds like a good idea; so why not add this to the FHUG Wish List.
