* Doesnt Appear in my Family Tree

Hi Nick

Just wondered if you could maybe tell me what I am doing wrong, I have had a quick look at the new Ancestral Sources, love the set up and how it puts everything in for you, but I have managed to save an image to it,but when I try to save the whole thing, it doesnt appear in my family tree, am I missing something, tried it about 3 times.

I have Family Historian 4.2 and am trying to save it to my project. It does it no problem using the Gedcom Census.

Any help appreciated, thanks

I'm assuming you mean literally nothing new is appearing in your file (not just the multimedia), i.e. census facts, etc.

In that case you must be opening a different file/project in Ancestral Sources to the one you are using in Family Historian. I assume you're using the 'Open Project' feature in Ancestral Sources?

If you don't figure out what's happening, perhaps you could try the following:

Go into Family Historian, make sure your project is open.
Choose File->File Statistics and make a note of the File path at the top.
In Ancestral Sources choose 'Open GEDCOM File' and navigate to the same ged file following the path you noted in the previous step.
Once it is open click on File->Current Project is default
