I just installed AS and after a few glitches due to my inexperience and mixed up filing system (now fixed I hope)I have it working fine. It works and looks great, good work Nick.
I have one problem,I had entered about 30 censi with images using GC and these images seem to be lost since downloading AS.
They show up on multimedia as a blank crossed out rectangle. and when i try to view message says item not found, or 'Unable to load object.error on file open'
Is there any easy way to get them back? or do I have to attempt to enter the images one at a time in FH, or even worse do I have to re-enter everything using AS

Ancestral Sources won't have lost your images and neither will Gedcom Census as there aren't any features of either program that can delete images.
Presumably when you say: 'They show up on multimedia as a blank crossed out rectangle. and when i try to view message says item not found, or 'Unable to load object.error on file open' you're referring to Family Historian? So really this isn't an Ancestral Sources question its a Family Historian question. I would guess those images are somewhere in your system but that Family Historian doesn't know where they are, perhaps they've been moved or your family history file has been moved so the links are broken. Try searching your my documents for the files. Once you've located the images I'd suggest you look at the Tools->Work with External File Links dialogue, there is a 'Help' button on the dialogue if you can't work it out.

Thanks Nick, after reading your post it dawned on me that i had refiled all my census files under a new folder, so that I would be more efficient when I started using AS. it never occurred to me that FH would be unable to find the new location.I learns something new every day.Your tip to use External file Links dialogue helped me get everything sorted.
Onward and upward.
