Accessing all records from their source

Post by msallen » 02 Jun 2004 09:05

Hi

My first post here so please be gentle!

When I first started entering data into family historian I was a bit lazy with dates for occupation, residence etc only entering years rather than complete dates. I decided a while back to go through all these entries and be more accurate where I could. Last week I went through all the entries derived from the 1881 census and changed them to show the full date (3/4/1881). I would now like to do the same for 1901 census entries but can't remember how I did it!

I can go to the source record and then pull up a list of individual records that link to it via the View/Record links menu option, but there doesn't seem to be a simple way of getting to each individual record in turn from there. Am I doing something wrong? (well obviously I am because I managed it last week!).

Thanks in advance
Mark

You can create a list from the record links window the small icon on the bottom left of the screen. You can then use the list to move around the records window.
